Postpartum Check In

Did you know that having a 6 week check-up post birth is JUST as important for you as a Mum as it is for your baby...

Pregnancy & birth really take their toll on the body from a nutrient perspective. Nutrient requirements for many of our nutrients actually increase during the postpartum period - particularly if breastfeeding - and deficiencies in many of these nutrients are strongly linked with postpartum depression.

It is therefore so important to get pathology testing done during the postpartum period so that we can assess & address any nutrient deficiencies.

A good place to start when it comes to postpartum testing is:
〰️ full blood count
〰️ iron studies
〰️ vitamin B12
〰️ vitamin D
〰️ full thyroid panel
